Flash Instant Shine Hair Gloss Mask
Adds shine
Amika Instant Shine Mask is so quick to use, it only has to be left on hair for 1 minute to give results. It has an unusual gel like texture and is easy to apply to hair, rinses off leaving no residue its very lightweight. It can be used in place of conditioner for an oily or normal hair type but for dry hair after shampoo and conditioner. This really added shine to my hair, I have hair that really does not shine its more frizzy dry. This added subtle shine after only leaving on hair for a minute, so it really does work. The only issue for me was I have super dry hair currently and I used this after my conditioner but it still tangled my hair its just not hydrating enough for my super dry hair so I need to apply it after a very hydrating conditioner and use a leave in conditioning treatment after as usual. I have also used this on a more normal hair type as a conditioner and it was adequate but if your hair is prone to tangles, frizzy or very dry it does seem to dry out hair a little. Overall I think its a great product to add shine but I don't think its nourishing, it may be the texture its so light and it manages to add shine without any heaviness so you can't have it all. Would really recommend if you want to add shine just use with a nourishing conditioner on dry hair.
